Who is Nobbydamus?

Nobbydamus is a comedic character created by Robert Callaghan in 2001.  Nobbydamus looks at life from a different point of view, on his self made  platform, through his Bi focal glasses with no lenses. Nobbydamus got to share his views with the public when he performed on New Zealands TV2’s ‘Pulp Comedy’ in 2002.

He likes to look at life backwards, which is why he thinks hindsight is so useful, although probably not very practical, for if you did have an eye in your hind quarters it would get rather dirty, not to mention squashed if you forgot and sat on it, and you would literally never look at a toilet in the same way.
Unlike Nostradamus, Nobbydamus looks at the past as the future and the future has already happened. His reasons for this are simple,  ‘why not?’. If that’s not convincing enough then think about this, how is it that people say things like ‘ I knew you were going to do that’ or ‘ I knew you were going to say that’ , not to mention Deja Vu, of course these are minor things, the big ones are past civilisations with greater knowledge of the world than we hold now, but the real evidence is that we as humans are becoming less skilled, children now need calculators in exams, no one knows anyone’s telephone numbers anymore, without using their mobile as refference, we can cook anymore, everything is prepared and there’s more cooking programs on the TV showing us what to do than ever, we can’t even form a pop band in our bedrooms anymore, we need a talent show on TV to show us how to do that, there are less librarys in the world, we are dumbing down, and even that saying is wrong, surely if our dumbness is increasing we should be dumbing up?
